All our Counsellors are Neurodivergent

The Team

PNCPS (Prof Accred)

Amy is the founder and lead counsellor at Newglade and is a neurodivergent, integrative counsellor who works primarily with teenagers and adults. Finding an increased need for this kind of therapy, Amy has developed a small team of neurodivergent counsellors to be able to offer effective help to more people.

Her ethos is to provide a validating, safe space where neurodivergence can be explored and integrated into everyday life and she takes a flexible approach to therapy, combining different models to individually tailor the process.

Amy works face to face out of her log cabin in Canterbury and online with people across the UK and beyond. She has comprehensive safeguarding training/experience and holds a current DBS. She is an accredited professional member of the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society).

Amy offers counselling, parent support sessions, support to professionals and training in neurodivergence. She also offers the Rewind therapy technique for trauma.

Details of our latest professional development and qualifications can be found on our Fees & FAQ’s page.

Amy is AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD).
